The obligatory post for the end of just another year

If there’s any one left that’s still reading EOI after 7 years, you would’ve noticed that most of the older posts got deleted. I don’t see any point in keeping up posts more than a year old.
That all being said, I did have a few favorites that came out this year. I’m certainly not going to hop on any bandwagon that rehashes music that sounds like the 80s. I lived through them once, I certainly don’t see any need to live them (or look like the 80s) again.

“Coyotes” from Strangers to Ourselves by Modest Mouse got the most plays from me this year.

No No No by Beirut

Coming Home by Leon Bridges

Òran Mór Session by The Twilight Sad

Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit by Courtney Barnett

The 2016 releases from Basia Bulat, Modest Mouse, and David Bowie are the ones I’m looking forward to the most.
